Growing interest for high carbon discs

hc_discs_newsOver the last years the demand for special brake discs has been increasing. A growing number of customers are asking for coated discs, discs with accessory parts such as ABS rings and bearings, or discs in special cast material.

SBS, one of Europe's leading suppliers of brake discs for the free aftermarket has developed its business to meet these requirements.

In addition to the standard disc range including a number of references with mechanical and magnetic ABS and bearings, SBS offers a special range of coated discs in high carbon cast iron material.

For upper medium class cars
The high carbon range includes front discs for upper medium cars such as popular Merce-des, BMW and Audi models as well as a number of GM and VW cars.

The discs are ideal where there is an explicit need for extra brake performance, especially when driving many kilometers on highways with frequent breaking.

Advantages
The SBS high carbon range features important advantages such as excellent thermal conductivity reduced risk for judder, cast/DTV tolerances at best aftermarket level and reduced noise.

Coating
The SBS High Carbon Range features an aluminum gray environment friendly coating. This has an anticorrosive impact, and protects non-friction parts of the discs to remain without rust for a long time. Also due to the coating, the discs do not need to be degreased before fitting.
In addition, the High Carbon discs are delivered with fixing screws.

High standards
SBS has developed the range in cooperation with one of the leading and most advanced Chinese manufactures of brake discs. They are manufactured according to the TS16949 standard which is the quality standard approved by the automotive industry.

All logistic operations such as finishing, marking, customizing and packing are made by SBS in Denmark ensuring stable and fast deliveries form our central warehouses.
